Our Policies
Returns
While we want you to be completely satisfied with the products you purchase from us and the total sales experience we understand that sometimes an item is damaged or just isn’t what you want after all. These are the policies we currently have in effect for handling returns.
The customer (you) must notify Pearsonite, Inc. of the return within 7 days of receiving the product. Obtain an RMA number by contacting us at Returns@pearsonite.com. All returns must have an RMA number. We recommend reading all of our return policies before contacting us.
If the return is due to error on the part of Pearsonite, Inc. or any of its merchant partners Pearsonite, Inc. will cover the costs of shipping and handling for the return. Examples of errors of this type include but are not limited to:
- Wrong item shipped
- Wrong quantity of items shipped
- Failure to ship all items
Items damaged in shipping are handled on a case by case basis. Please contact us at Shipping@pearsonite.com so that we may assist you.
Unopened items with damage from the factory are eligible for exchange or refund and will not be assessed a restocking fee. Once an item is opened we are required to treat it as a warranty issue, this is a requirement placed upon us by the manufacturers we work with and we cannot change this. Please see our warranty policy below for warranty issues.
If the return is not due to error on the part of Pearsonite, Inc. or any of its business partners the buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs involved in the return plus a 20% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund. The product must be unopened, undamaged, in ‘brand-new’ original factory sealed condition. Products which have been opened and/or damaged are not eligible for refund. Examples of returns of this type include but are not limited to:
- Correct item ordered but buyer decides does not want it.
- Ordered a blue item but child/friend/etc wants a green item.
Refunds will be issued in the same manner as original payment within 7 days of receipt of returned item.
Please contact Returns@pearsonite.com for any return requests. Please include the store you purchased the item from as well as your sales number and. (I.e., Amazon.com sales# 000001.) We will contact you at the email address you contact us from unless otherwise specified. Please do not ship an item back until you receive an RMA number.
Warranty Policy:
Pearsonite, Inc. does not offer its own warranties on goods sold through our stores. Please contact the manufacturer of your product for any warranty issues. We will be more than happy to assist you with contacting the manufacturer and to assist in resolving any disputes with the manufacturer. Please contact us at Warranty@pearsonite.com with any warranty issues.
Privacy
Pearsonite, Inc. respects your privacy and does not sell, forward, or provide any customer information to any other party. Pearsonite, Inc. may periodically send out newsletters or fliers to previous customers. Customers may choose to opt out of these communications by sending an email to privacy@pearsonite.com with the subject ‘Opt Out’. No further communications will be sent to the email address from which the ‘opt out’ request originated from with the exception of sales receipts and responses to questions or issues emailed to Pearsonite, Inc.
Sales and Billing Questions:
Pearsonite, Inc. does not directly process or handle credit card, debit, or electronic check charges. All charges are conducted through 3rd parties such as Amazon.com, Ebay, or Paypal. Please contact the appropriate merchant partner for any credit card, debit, or electronic check issues. The name of the sales service will be indicated on your sales receipt.
We highly recommend that you contact the sales service first (such as Amazon, Ebay, or Paypal) in order to more efficiently resolve your questions. Please contact us with any questions or issues at billing@pearsonite.com. We will likely recommend contacting the sales service but will do our best to assist you.
Shipping and Handling:
Pearsonite, Inc. is licensed only for domestic sales within the United States and its territories. This includes APO/FPO addresses.
Exact shipping and handling will be calculated on a per-order basis unless calculated by a 3rd party such as Amazon.com or Ebay.
Right to Revision:
Pearsonite, Inc. reserves the right to update its policies at any time
